Which certification is most important?

Any classes given in NYC?or on-line?

The American Purchasing Society has on-line classes for Certified Purchasing Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP) and Certified Professional Purchasing Manager (CPPM).

From what I've seen, CPPM is the most common, then you can get into specialties of Purchasing such as government, construction, etc.
