(1) Live in a city in a developed country, high post job and enjoy material things, people are educated and being professionals; people talk about quality, efficientcy and service, but facing high level of stress and doesn't have very healthy body and mind.

(2) Live in a small town in a developing country, people hardly even speak English, being with a man who doesn't hold high post/qualification but care about you with all his heart, don't have any career opportunity, big shopping centres, or having meals in posh restaurant, and just being a house wife... But health gets better.

Which one will you choose?

I guess in theory you would fulfill your potential more in a city, but some people just don't thrive on the stress. I used to live in a large city and now I live in a small town 400 miles north of the nearest shopping mall- so that's what I choose. I don't think anymore the goal of life is about success on other people's terms, but living the life that you want.

I'm a house wife of the first group. think god we don't feel THAT MUCH stress so i think i will stay where I'am . i would be much more stressed out worrying about food rent heat (hope there's no kids). we all want a man that loves us with all his heart but hes got to bring some thing to the table and you made choice #2 look pretty sad.

2. Quality of life is best for the soul. I just wish I had the guts to actually to that b/c I know I live a #1....how ironic. I am educated enough to know what is best yet I choose not to live it.

I and my family moved from example one to example two, thinking it would be better but we were shown otherwise. We're now in the process of moving back to the suburbs of pennsylvania after almost 3 years of living in florida. Example one is, in my opinion, the better choice overall and just learning to deal with the stress it causes. I'm happier that way :)
