Unfortunately, it seems that ANYTHING goes during pregnancy (I have a friend who jokes that if you went to the doctor growing a second head, he/she would say "it's normal sweetie, you're pregnant"). Hopefully the pains will subside for you, but for me, the third trimester is the worst. If the baby is sitting on your sciatic nerve, it causes pain from your back all the way down your legs. If you have round ligament pain, it can pretty much hurt anywhere, but mine hurts at the bikini line area, just internally. I described it to my husband the other day like someone had clamps on me down there and was pulling as hard as they could in opposite directions and everything was tearing. Normal? Unfortunately, although not very common I hear. One thing to look out for is if you notice drastic changes in any discharge, that's a warning sign and you should call your doctor.

Best wishes!!!

Yes it is. I was sooo worried about all the pain I was in with my first child, and now I am pregnant again and the pain is there again. It is from your uterus and your body just getting ready to hold a baby. You can take Tylenol, but I wouldn't take it unless I absolutely needed it. Good luck with everything.

Oh one more thing, later on, you could be having round ligament pains, where it feels like something is being stretched from your tummy to your pelvic area. this is also completely normal. I wouldn't worry unless there was blood involved.

Yes, especially if you're small. Anytime you are pregnant, your body has to expand to accommodate the growing fetus.Skin, muscles, and everything is stretched out of normal proportion, causing pain, which is common.

It could be ligaments stretching to accommodate the growing baby, but I would ask your doctor just to be sure.
