Speed = Distance / Time

Rearranging this equation,
Time = Distance / Speed

Speed = 3 E8 m/s
Distance = 1.5 E11 m
Time = ?

Time = 1.5 E11 m / 3 E8 m/s
Time = 500 seconds
In scientific notation,
Time = 5 E2 seconds = 5 x 10^2 seconds
