first of all, you can always talk or communicate with her teacher. you may also want to hire a math tutor to help her <--that really helps!! you can give her like a mini lesson on math at home or when you have time and make sure she likes it and is interested in it!!! i do hope this helps[:

well last year I was in 7th grade and I really had a hard time. you should just make math seem fun! always psyc her up about math being grat and easy. though don't over do it. she would most likely get worse if you're a nagger.

let her learn on the internet. its way cheaper than a tutor and the creators of the site really helps. I've always had a hard time in math only now i don't. tell her about having to find good colleges and her future if she doesn't get into a good one. tell her that algebra is the secret weapon to higher maths.

also find the secrets to making math fun and easier. other methods 'cos maybe she just doesn't like her teachers methods!

hope I helped!!

Don't force her to practise Maths until she wants to pick it up herself. Take her to the market and let her calculate what to buy for how much. Make it interesting. Keep the book aside and plan questions related to daily life. Plan to make your own home, solve how much will be your labor cost etc. You may even arrange a group study for her, either at tuitions or at your home. Children tend to study better in company sometimes. Try these tricks and see whether maths becomes more interesting for her.

Get her a tutor or a classmate that is better than her to help her. You can also buy tutoring CD's. I have one for my daughter. Talk to her teachers, maybe they can help or put her in a lower math class.
