What's your theory on the assassination of JFK??

In school last week, my history teacher taught us about the assasination of President Kennedy and how the Warren Commission came to the conclusion that Harvey Lee Oswald was the assassin. They did not really research in it as much as it should have been researched....

There are some who believe it was Lyndon B. Johnson....which is very strange to me.

There are documents on the assassination that are not supposed to be made avaliable to the public until the last Kennedy passes....their daughter I believe it is...Caroline Kennedy.

You obviously have a keen interest in history and JFK was a good leader from what we know although he did have affairs with such women as Marolyn Monro .It is said Lee Harvey Oswald was the assassin ,To be really honest with all the forensic evidence againt him it still may have been someone else I doubt Lyndon B. Johnson did it himself but he may have arranged it or someone who was hurt by his affairs .I doubt we will ever know the real truth as you would know the USA has many secrect services who work independent of each other and can cover their tracks well We see this sort of deception portrayed on television all the time so anything is possible in this case they needed someone to blame and the found him whether he did it I dont know I am not tottally convinced all it takes just one mad person to do something like this just look at the previous Pope they attempted to assainate him why just because he is a harmless old religous man .Anyway keep up the good work and hope this never happens again.

Personally, I believe it was the mafia responsible for his assassination. The mob hired Lee Harvey Oswald.
Joe Kennedy, JFK's father became very wealthy selling alcohol during the prohibition and many of his associates were in the mafia. When JFK became president and with his brother Robert Kennedy, they pursued the mob in the hopes of destroying the crime syndicate. The mob saw that as betrayal since Joe Kennedy made his family's fortune with their help. I also believe that Lee Harvey Oswald had an accomplice who was never caught.

It's very easy for us to look back and come up with a million conspiracy theories - but most of them hinge on very improbable coincidences and timing. They didn't have the tools and methods that we have now for forensics and autopsies, and the violent assassination of the President obviously was an unplanned for circumstance.

I do think it was Oswald and that he acted alone on the day. If you go to the book depository you can see that it is a fairly easy shot for a trained gunman(which Oswald was).

Many, including Oliver Stone like to make up facts and figures to support many theories. In Stones movie JFK he has fictional key characters and was actually sued for putting words into the mouths of still living people/witnesses. Yet people accepted his film as "the truth". But given the facts, it seems as if Oswald was actually the right man. And I don't think that there was more than one bullet - any emergency room doctor or army medic can tell you just how much damage and bouncing around a bullet can do in the human body. It was a head shot - also the sign of an experienced marksman = Oswald.

But it's done and that's that. People just want to understand the "why" of it all and to rewrite history. Thus the theories.

To me, there is no compelling reason to believe anything else other than Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone.

He was my great-grandmother's cousin so yes, I've researched the hell out of this one.

I don't know if you've been to Dallas....but I could have hit him with a rock from the Book Depository.

The nutballs who either think 1) Lee Harvey was too far away to hit him, or 2) Think he couldnt' have fired enough shots either have never been to Dallas, forget that Oswald was a trained sniper, or both.

Also there have been multiple ballistic studies to confirm the head movement, regardless of what Oliver Stone tells you.




There very possibly were other people involved behind the scenes, who knows?

I think it is pretty obvious that Oswald was the shooter, however.

I was a freshman in high school on the afternoon of November 22, 1963. No it definitely was not Lyndon Johnson who killed President Kennedy. They were friends, and LBJ actually had admiration and affection for the first family.
