Jewlrey can be made of almost any material. You can give a heartfelt homemade gift made from beads, charms, or even gold.
I prefer Platinum. I don't really like gold jewlrey, some I do.... But that's a whole diffenerent subject.
Jewlrey can consist of differents precious metals, gemstones, beads, pearls, diamonds, stone, molded clay, turquiose, amber, bloodstones, birthstones.
It just depends on your since of style...
For instance, do you like simplicity, plain, modern, what colors do you like, what cut of stone do you prefer?
All of these play a factor when picking out jewlrey.
Also the main factor is budget.

I personally like silver, or white gold, they are both pretty, still cost less without the tarnishing, the diamonds in the cheap white gold might not be real, but if its just for looks why pay a thousand or more? ive seen nice white gold rings for under 150 and even down to 60, gold has gone out of style over time also, most girls i know like silver jewelry nowadays, but that just might be a regional thing

Good jewellery is something you can wear with anything from going out clubbing to a formal to chilling with mates on the beach.
Nothing to flashy and chunky coz if you are wearing it for a long time you might get sick of it.

just something cool to wear? something you made. like something made out of a thing lying around the house that wouldnt normally be jewelry. that makes it really cool.

gold 14-18 karats
I prefer white gold.
You probably won't be allergic to it and it won't leave your finger/neck green.
