Not really. Points just help you move to the next level and be able to ask/answer more questions per day.

You get to be mistreated by YA.
I started answering questions soon affter this site opened. I built up to Level 4 and my account was deleted for a wisecrack I made.
Then I built up to Level 5 and started committing violations so they would cancel me.
Then, I built up to Level 6 and did the same thing.
I have been a way for months.
None of this has made any difference in any aspect of my life.
YA is a waste of time.

But viewing yahoo answers, we can get people's views...
By interacting, we can improve our language standard also...
By searching for the answers, we too get some knowledge..
Though we dont get money, we are gaining knowledge...

Nope. But you get points foranswering questions and you will get more points, leading you to the next level and you can ask more questions.
