Playing a "chord". ie G major GBDGDG from low to high. Arpeggio means "broken chord" and is when all the notes of a chord are played one by one. Technically, strumming a chord is arpeggiating because all the notes are not sounding at the exact same instant.

A strum, if you do it slowlly, and make sure you hit each string.
