All cells need foods (source of energy such as carbos, fats etc...) in order to survive, develope and reproduce.

The differences between plant and animal cells are:

Plants have chloroplasts, cell wall, vacuole, plasmodesmata. Animals don't have Chloroplast, cell wall, valucole, plasmodesmata.

Also in plants, "Starches" are long glucose polymers that store energy. While in animals, "Glycogen" are long glucose polymers that store energy. There are more branches in glycogen than starches.

Correction for vidyaa:

Both plant and animal cells do have "Mitochondria". This is the powerhouse to make ATP (energy). Both need ATP to do work.

Hi Janet, I just ordered a bottle on Amazon for around $24. I bought a bottle about a year ago at Whole Foods and it was more than $10 more. I'm not sure that it did much for me because I was taking it in conjunction with many other supplements. However, about 6 months ago I saw some pretty substantial cognitive improvement which subsided about 5 months ago. I haven't had Cell Food since about 5 months ago, so it is possible that the Cell Food was a major factor in that improvement. I'll be receiving the bottle next Wednesday, so hopefully I'll see a boost. :)

Hmmm, the only "cell" that has food would be an egg.
Unfertilized bird or reptile eggs are single cells (although very, very large ones). The "food" would be the yolk that is present to support an embryo if it were fertilized.

Animal cells are unique in that they do not have cell walls, as do all plants, fungi, and most bacteria.

no cell has food in it. the food is stored in the form of enerygy and nutrients in it so that it can be used to do work. the main difference between a plant cell and animal cel is that plant cell donot have mitochondria wheres animal cell has.
