I saw a purse I really wanted and went to the website to check out the description. The purse was $150.00 and made of synthetic leather so I want to know what it is.

it comes from the skin of a synthetic cow. generally these are the ones raised for food production to Taco Bells.

Fake Leather, not worth $150 in my opinion. If its real leather it will say Genuine leather.

synthetic equals faux.
faux leather equals pleather.
personally i wouldn't pay 150.00 for it.
look around. minus the name brand you could probably find one for a quarter of the price.

Leather is generally made from animal hide.
Synthetic leather is made from artificial animals......
like plastic cows or polystyrene coats.
