no way. the only reason he is this close is that 500+ yards game vs cincy. Not gonna happen again

All depends on the final game (does he play the whole game if the Saints have clinched #2 seed?) and whether or not the Saints depend heavily on using the running game to beat the Giants and Panthers.
Hard to tell.
I am sure though that 5,000 yards is taking a back seat to #2 Seed and a Super Bowl berth!
YEAH BABY!!! GEAUX SAINTS!!!
Go ahead, say it, SUPER BOWL SAINTS!
Sounds sweet! Been saying it for two decades and this year is the only year it doesn't generate laughs.

I think he might have a chance if he keeps up this stellar play he has had these last few weeks...
but if i was sean payton (the coach) I would sit Drew Brees for the last few games because the last thing you would want is an injury to one of your star players

No bc he will probably sit the last one or two games if they clinch having the #2 seed and cannot do any better. If they HAVE TO PLAY TO GET A 2 OR 3 SEED, THEN THERE IS A GOOD CHANCE

yes, he needs like 960 yards or so in 3 games remaining, he is passing like 350 yards average per game so indeed its very possible, the last one to do so was marino??? (5000 yards passing seasons)
