As a couple other posters mentioned, the last tie was in 2002, 34-34 between the Steelers and Falcons. Prior to that, the last ties in the NFL were in 1997. The Giants/Redskins and Eagles/Ravens played tie games within a week of each other. Before that, there hadn't been one since the late 80s.

Redskins and Giants ended in a tie..i remember it because i was like holy S**t!! i had no idea an NFL game could end in a tie. i think it was like 6 years ago.

it was 2002 and the two teams were atlanta and pittsburgh the final score was 34-34

Pittsburgh and Atlanta in 2002 (ironically, when they played this year, it went to OT).
