Absolutely. At one point this year they had 5 TEAMS IN THE TOP 13. That only changed as those teams inevitably beat each other. Man, other conference just don't ever do that.

They're pretty much neck-and-neck with the Big Ten. The Big Ten leads the SEC in the all-time series against each other, but by only 6-8 games, so in a given year, you could toss a coin!

I don't think so. If you think about it, there are many other other "ranked' teams out there but are they any good?
For example:
Rutgers
Boise State
Auburn

Tennesse in my opinion is good, they obliviated Cal.
Nebraska lost to just ranked teams.
South Carolina came close to a few upsets.

I don't think that any conference is superb, but if I had to choose one it would be the Big 12: only 2 really horrible teams, Kansas and Baylor, but they aren't as bad as Army or Ball State.

The SEC always has more teams in the top 20. That would be a good
indicator that they are at the top.

I'm a UT Vols fan; but I feel that the only SEC teams that can actually move the football are Arkansas and LSU.

They are this year.

And anyone who thinks the Big Ten is better is looking past the fact that Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan State, Minnesota, Northwestern, Penn State, and Purdue suck something awful.
