I want to save about 250 songs downloaded from Limewire.
I have already burned music c/d's and they are fine. Now I want to save the files for future cd"s.The files are a mixture of mp3audio and wma

You are going to need to find a converter. There are a few (Very few) free ones online. It will take some time to convert them all, but if you're determened you can do it.

If you're going to continue downloading, and want MP3s, make sure to check the file type before downloading it.

I've used the one listed below once before, the only problem is you must click the button that states you don't have the key after each song to continue using it... Or purchase the key.

Simple. Put the CD in. It'll bring a list of the songs. Right click on a song. Select Save As. Put it in My Music. Click Save.

I would burn them onto a DVD as data files, not CD/DVD tracks. Just pretend like you are saving Word documents or Excel spreadsheets onto a CD.
