I don't know if i have an accent as much as ...a different pronounciation of certain words.

I trill my r's and sometimes it may seem like i have a lisp but i really don't.

And ... yeah.

Everyone has some sort of accent, I like to think. Since I'm from the northeast, the way I speak differs from those in the south, or those in England for instance, and I therefore have an accent - from their perspective.

But what's interesting is there are different accents for various towns/cities in my state. I'm sure this is true for a lot of states. I remember someone asking my friend if she was from a certain city, and he got it right. When she asked how he knew, he told her that her accent gave it away. A city! What are the chances of that happening? Mind you we were MILES from home.

People say I sound like I'm from New York, even though I live in the Midwest, so yeah, I guess I do have an accent. Musta got it from my parents.

Everyone has an accent. I have an Ohio accent here in South Carolina.

Yes. I have been told I sound like I am from the northeast USA when I am really from southeast Missouri. I think it is because I talk fast.

Depending on what country ure in i probably do have an accent but in everyday life...nope!

Some people think so.... I was born in NY, but I have lived in Florida for like 23 years.... so, not much NY left....
