♥(If you don't pay attention to the news, the Christmas trees at SeaTac Airport in Seattle were taken down because of the threats of one rabbi. When are we going to stop arguing about these material things and start being respectful of each other?)

if religion is supposed to teach tolerance, why can't religions tolerate each other?

i personally don't see how a tree can offend anyone. the story i saw was that the rabbi just wanted the menorah displayed along with the tree but did not want them to take it down. the airport officials felt they had to as they could not accommodate every sect or religion that wanted their christmas symbol displayed. boo on the rabbi for raising a fuss but i understand employees plan on bringing their own trees so i think there will be even more trees at the airport now !!

The Jews had nothing to do with the trees being remove.

The Rabbi asked the airport to add a menorah display, which he was prepared to pay for. He never asked or wanted the trees removed.

If you want to get mad at someone, try the airport that decided it would rather remove the trees than allow the Jews to participate in the festive season.

If I was offended by something as simple as a Christmas Tree just because I was of a different religion, I would have enough courtesy to the rest of the world to keep my damn mouth shut about it and go on with my life.

There is nothing mean about putting up a Christmas tree. But Christians should realize they aren't the only belief in the world. Actually Christmas is more directly pagan than Halloween, but they usually don't admit that.

Unfortunately Christians have to be very tolerant to tantrums
I'm glad I do not live in Seattle. Hope this will not set precedents around the world.
Why shouldn't Christians be allowed to celebrate Christmas with a Christmas tree.

Don't you find that a little ironic? They are complaining about a tree offending them and they are offending us by not respecting our traditions. It never ceases to amaze me how stupid and petty people can be.

I would continue walking by and think of how happy that tree is making some little kid. I would really suck if I was offended by such stupid things
