The importance of jewelry is a personal sensation and for me, not a fashion statement. I am a silver girl and just really love it! I wear jewelry because I see a piece that speaks to me. I like artisan crafted silver and looking at it as well as the feel of it is amazing to me. To think someone molded and shaped this piece of metal by hand with crude tools into an expression of themselves excites me. It is truly an art!

Earrings enhance the face and clothing, necklaces the chest
and neck. Some others wear them so they can show that

Jewelery is a way of showing wealth.

Myself, I wear a watch and that is it. It is a Fossil watch, with a blue face, analogue hands and stainless steel band. It is cool enough for my age group, sturdy enough for my everyday wear, and shows that whilst I don't have too much money, I can afford nice things when I work for them. At least thats what I tell myself.

I wear it because I like the way it enhances my ears neck and hands. I like big stones set in silver with lots of colour- turquoise, amber and pearl are beautiful. Alot of people wear it as "bling" sort of a status thing. It can be overkilled though then it can look tacky.
