What is the purpose of this research? Let women wear their pubic hair or let them shave/trim them the way they want and are comfortable with. Knowing that they do or do not wear their pubic hair isnt going to help anyone.
Trends of fashion and personal grooming change from time to time. At one time, retaining pubic hair was considered normal, but with the change in perception, perpetrated more by the pornographic industry, a lot of men and women are possibly going in for a change. What matters is whether their pubic hair (if they choose to have it) is kept clean at all times and their partners are also not averse to it being there or want it to be shaven/trimmed. Just observe how fashions change in respect of wearing hair on one's head!
