Do you guys know of a company that ships LARGE palms and is not too expensive? I'd like it to be very simple, simply order a palm, and have it show up on my doorstep, is this possible?
Also, I do know that colorado is a tough place to grow palms, however, with the right palms and southern exposure, palms can survive. I have seen them live!

Do you actually know how big a FULL SIZED palm is????? One 12 to 15 feet tall and the same in frond width runs about $5000.
Other types are 15 to 25 feet tall and certainly can weigh a ton or so.
Is this what you are talking about? I' m thinking you really mean an adolescent palm, that is affordable and shippable.
A friend just bought a house and she is trying to sell the palm in her front yard. It takes up a circle about 15 to 20 feet across and is about 15 feet tall (the grass won't grow under it).
Only certain palms are really popular, so selling one and getting it moved is challenging. Then you have to fill the hole and have it sodded over.
