Now do you believe me when I say that Immigration and Abortion are among the smokescreen issues the government throws up at election time to stir people up and then they never do anything about?

I AGREE WITH YOUR ASSESSMENT. DID YOU NOTICE THAT JUST BEFORE THE LAST ELECTION THE GAS PRICES DROPPED AND IMMEDIATELY AFTERWARDS THAT THEY STARTED CLIMBING? DID YOU KNOW THAT ONCE YOUR ELECTED TO THE HOUSE OR SENATE THAT YOU GET THAT YEARLY SALARY FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE? THEY'VE RIGGED THE SYSTEM TO FIT THEIR WANTS, NOT THEIR NEEDS.

I do not think they are smokescreens by the government or anyone else. I do think nothing gets done about immigration though. No one wants to alienate potential voters. It makes little since since illegals have no right to vote as they are not citizens of any city, county, state or the US.

No this is a major problem. We must secure our boarders.And our ports. I know a lot of people will say I am crazy but here goes.We need to put the army at the borders, until we have enough boarder patrols, we send our troops to protect other country;s why not protect America first.

for some reason both sides want illegal immagration. It makes no sense to me. The only thing I can think of is that our govt wants a EU type north american agreement but just havent exposed it yet.
