Why don't schools fire the AD along with the coach?

Isn't the bad hire costing the school millions in aborted contract payouts? Then they let the same buffoon hire the next football coach? crazy.

Why stop there. Fire the guy (or gal) who hired the guy (or gal) who hired the AD.

In fact, close the entire college down.
