I second Mac. I use their Studio Fix powder foundation and I have never seen a product that comes close. The price is approx. $30 (Canadian).
I also like their concealers, although I am using Sheseido ($37) right now.
Lancome products are also great. I love their Star Gloss (Approx. $18), which I think they are discontinuing. :(
OPI also makes a great face and body shimmer ($20).
I am a firm believer in "you get what you pay for".

i love macs eyeshadow colors and their huge selection and coverage as well as nars. both companies are funky and vibrant. i also love nars and macs lipgloss. mac and clinique have good foundation in the liquid form as well as face powder and cake/gel type. bobbi brown is also very nice and their selection bringsout and enhances beauty. i love their blush/bronzers. mac and nars are more for a night look or runway/party look. clinique and bobbi brown are good for consumer and daily wear.
