When you need to ask someone to assist you, do you know who to turn to right away or do you have to think about it?

Oh yes. And I am skilled at this. Remembering people's talents. I'd like to think I know how to push the proper buttons when I need them.

Even if you remember people's skills, you might not know all kinds of people to turn to for assistance. For example, in a course of a year, someone might need help with taxes, backyard work, referrals, etc...etc... Chances are that person might NOT know all these kinds of people. Eventually that person will just have to turn to that good yellow pages.... Finally, it's the high tech era: USE A PDA !

I usually ask more than one for advice, to get a broader perspective of experience & viewpoint, then hire it done...

i know if I'm asking and sometimes i get more than one persons viewpoint. two heads are better than one is the ol saying. thanks
