it's a good question.
i'd rather be his enemy first and his friend later then his friend first and his enemy later.

depends on the definition on 'enemy' itself...
there are many kinds of enemy out there...some u shld try to love n some u must hate/oppose them.
Example,ur girl/man has gone away with another girl/man...that girl/man is ur enemy..because they took something frm u..That enemy is a forgiveable enemy n u shld try to love them..why? because u r not good enough n its ur fault..find someone else for godsake..
Another example is an enemy that has ruined ur life such as the tragedy of 9/11...well,do you want to try to love them? Don't think so...

If you look at it from a superficial standpoint (... i.e. you're actually talking about your worst enemy), then no. But if you consider the aphorism "With friends like that, who needs enemies?" .... then yes, I guess i do.
i.e. Your best friend can be your "worst enemy."

Love is a very underestimated emotion...no offense meant...to answer your question though dear, not sure if I even have an enemy (except the evil in the world) but if I do....I surely couldn't love them or it....

Why yes, I do.
I love the fact that he moved away from next door to me.
I love the fact that he DRINKS and SMOKES heavily every day.
I love the fact that he is always in debt.
I love the fact that all the people he has used, no longer help him.
And I especially love the peace of mind knowing I can walk out my front door and not be in fear of his two pit bull dogs wandering the neighborhood, attacking everyone.

I can be my own worst enemy. I do love myself most of the time, but I have my moments when I don't even like myself.

Why, that's what God/Jesus teach us to be, so yes. The more he wants to be an enemy of me, the more I feel sad, and yeah, love him, feel sorry for him.... And oh, I don't make enemies of anyone.

Yes I love it so much I hate it when I am not myself.
I love my self more than I can ever love anyone else and I hate it when I love others too but I can't help it
