When you meet people, do you forget their name right away?

Use to try to remember names of people that I thought would be important to me, co workers, neighbors, my friends kids names, these would be embarrassing to forget. However, now when someone introduces me to someone I don't strain my brain, if I see them again, I just apologize and say sorry but what was your name again and just tell them I was having a blonde moment. Good cover up.

I also tend to forget names. But I do a combination of things in an attempt to remember peoples names. First, I repeat the name 10 times. Second, I try to associate the name with something I do remember. For example, If I met a Frank, I will associate him with Frank Sinatra.

IF i take the time to learn it to begin with (when i first meet u) i will remember it indefinately. If I don't bother to really register ur name in my brain...i will not remember it.

No, I'm good with names. I remember them better than faces.
