They need to draft some good defense guys and also pick up some free agents. They need to stop worring about the offense so much and concentrate on the D. I think they know this now.. best of luck to the colts and manning does deserve that ring..

I think they should just let the opposing running backs score a touchdown without being touched or maybe just push a little (they try that on some plays already, but I mean on every play). Then Peyton and Co. will be on the field more and be able to keep the score respectable. By the 4th quarter, the other team will be down to its 3rd or 4th running back b/c all the others will be tired and then the defense, that will be well rested, can actually start to tackle and throw them off guard.

It won't be pretty, but it should work better than the current system.

eddie b....did you just say the colts should trade manning and start sorgi? what...were you smoking crack and wacking to monkey porn while you were thinking or something?

yeah, let's just bench one of the best quarterbacks in the history of the nfl who already has a corner reserved for him in the hall of fame. yeah, let's trade away the best passer of this generation.

the problem is, the colts defense is horrible. they can't tackle for crap. it's a shame because the defense will always be the thing that keeps manning from a ring. just a shame. he deserves a ring.

I don't they need to trade their offensive pieces. I think they need to sign as many good defensive free agents as possible, especially run stopping defensive linemen. Draft defensive studs in the NFL draft. The only other alternative is to change the defense to work from it's strengths (speed) and teach tackling techniques.

they cant take away any of mannings weapons on offense, they need to pick up some quality free agents on defense or get a better defensive coordinator, they should trade up to get that penn state linebacker and draft other defensive players

if i were the colts

manning is overrated i trade him to the redskins for a first rounder, shawn springs, and a later draft pick. with that pick draft the top defensive guy on the list. then next season, start Sorgi!
