It connects directly to lan but dosent recognise a direct cable box connection when it previously could

Restarting didnt work, and i cant seem to add another connection where it would directly recognise the cable box

right this is how I did it. First be specific the two desktops have an Ethernet (10/one hundred) card/connection. seem in the lower back for a connection hollow like for a telephone cable yet somewhat larger. purchase a Router (Netgear or ....) which frequently comes with holes for 4 cables. connect the Modem to the Router and the Router to the desktops with LAN cables (that have the bigger connectors) On the two desktops: DblClk on My computing gadget and RtClk on C: Clk on "residences" and enter a Label any call like XPC1 or ... ,mark "enable ...etc" then clk on "Sharing" mark "proportion this folder" and "optimum allowed", remark=Default proportion, clk ok Now you're able to desire to establish and make contact with the team that the desktops are area of and by employing wich they proportion materials and contents.
