I'm in the middle of about a dozen quilts. Most just need to be quilted (tops are done), but a couple are in various stages of piecing the tops. I have three completed tops for baby quilts, two baby quilts in the works, a group project wedding quilt in the planning stages, and at least six finished tops.

I used to jump from one craft to another - I've tried drawing and painting (good, but underappreciated), scrapbooking (who wants to look at page after page of my cats?), stamping (you can only make so many cards), making ornaments, crocheting (a reeeeaaallly long time ago), sewing clothes (don't have the patience to make the darn things fit), and even making decorative hats. Nothing stuck. I started quilting a few years ago and have been happily sewing away ever since.

I'm crocheting my grandmother a pair of mittens for Christmas. I've already made a hat and scarf so this is the last piece of the set.

crocheting an irish cable sweater and christmas decorating ... I always wind up decorating wreaths, swags and roping because the ones you buy either look sad or cost way too much, besides my holiday look changes almost every year with color and styles
