ROCK For the 60's it has to be the Beatles. The 70s started disco so i would say Led Zepplin saved the decade. Although they were around 4 decades I would say Pink Floyd for the 80s with delicate sound of thunder and Nirvana for the 90s. After 2000 ...POD

60s of course the beatles .the 70s were led zepplin all the way.the best band of the 80s wasall the hair bands and for the 90s i liked ministry and for these times i like hinder,etc.

Elvis was the first. But he was not a band.
Then came the Beatles.
The Rolling Stones seem to cover all those years. Even today.
Seventy's was a lot of disco; that would be KC and The Sunshine Band and Donna Summer as two big names.
