Assuming that all factors are identical to the Asian tsunami.
Also, fault lines have been found in the region which is why the area occasionally experiences very light tremors.
There are no seawalls at the shoreline for these two cities.
How many miles/kilometers would the water spill over to? (During heavy storms ships have been known to sink in the Great Lakes) so these bodies of water can do damage.

I don't think a tsunami would happen there, unless an asteroid hit the lake

You need to specify the strength, character and of course the height of the wave. One big one,or multiples (like the Asian tsunami was). What is the lake bed conformation near shore like, steep or gradual rise to shore? Presence of interfering objects like seawalls, sand bars, forested land, thick floating ice? Time of year: trees with leaves block more water than bare ones. Conformation of the shore (embayment or point) and direction the wave strikes from. Tide level. Wind direction (would add to tsunami if from same way, but flatten the tsunami a little if opposed).

You've asked a rather complex question actually.
