have you tried different brands of formula?

5 months is alittle young yet for cows milk - you need to consult with your doctor though.

cow's milk is not good for babies after 12 months then it would be okay.
try to change the nipple on the bottle sometimes that would be the problem or try a different formula if the doctor OKs it
when feeding your baby keep the baby close to your body so he or she can look into your eyes.

You should put the formula milk in a food he likes it may look different but they might not notice.Instead of cow milk you should give him goat milk because it has more nutrients. It might taste funny though. So then try cow milk.If that milk does'nt work try buying all different kinds and brands of milk even ice cream might work except it has tons of fats.

you don't say if you were breastfeeding your child and switched to formula or if you have been feeding him formula since he was born.

speak to your pediatrician, they are the ones who would be best to advise you in this matter.

five months old is too young to give cows milk. formula is designed for a growing baby's needs. you may want to try other formulas.

Hell no, chances are if he dosent like formula he wont like milk. It is not a complete food for infants and will possibly give him tummy upsets, ecezma, allergys, wind etc. Change the brand of formula you are using, and let him get a tiny bit more hungry than usual, before you give him a feed. Breast milk is the best food for your baby, if you can, persist with that. There are many benefits to feeding breastmilk till at least 6 months. Visit the Australian Breastfeeding Association website. They have lots of informaion about a wide range of feeding problems, and will be able to help you wean your baby onto formula. They have trained Breast Feeding nurses who will help you, and all for free!! Best of luck and remember breast is best.

he;s too young for cows milk .Are you breast feeding? I was soully breastfeeding for 4 months, when i tried to start my bub on formula she was not keen at all. So i would express breast milk and mix say, 100mls formula with 100mls breast milk. And she would drink it! I slowly decreased the amount of breast milk in the mixture, (120mls to 80mls, 150mls to 50mls and so on) and now she will have 200mls formula on its own. It is a bit of a pain expressing, but it was worth it.

at 5 months old he is not old enough for straight cows milk but you could start half and half see how he takes to the milk. Also get it too him in his foods, is he on solids and cereal yet, put it in those all mixed together so he can get the nutrients from that. Also tell your pediatritian and see what he/she suggests

No keep him on the breast until he is at least a year. After he can start on a cup. They don't need cows milk or soy milk until later

I think it is not good to give them soy milk

Maybe try a different formula, but check with the pediatrician first on that. How about changing to a different bottle nipple. Maybe even putting a dab of Karo Syrup on the nipple a time or to and he might start liking it better. Best of luck.
