Only when you have an IN message plan of $10/mo or higher

Yes actually. I used to think it was only for people who pay $10/month or more but if you check your Verizon account for the number of texts you have used, it will only count the ones that are not from or to Verizon. To investigate further, you could click on the "View More" button or something like that under the text quota and this will tell you how many texts you have sent and received. For more info, there is also a chart that shows who you have sent texts to or received texts from. It will not show any Verizon numbers.

its not FREE. u can purchase an unlimited package that allows you to send messages to and from other verizon users, but it is not something that is included in a basic plan, u might have the package though. u should call the customer service department and ask them if its included n your package.

good luck

you have to have a text plan....so its not really free. i pay 5 bucks a month and i get unlimited texts to verizon customers and 50 texts to other services

well depends on what plan you have if you have a plan that offers you texting and if you have unlimited texting no need to worry they should not charge you ....the other person on the other hand if they dont have and text messeging plan will get charged.....depends on how many texts you can make a month after they start charging you for extras

Unfortunately when they say in the commercial text to any customer with IN network for free they mean for free.
