Well, what if I am suicidal and I would have someone kill me as my preference? Am I then allowed to kill morally?

Or what if I enjoy being urinated on? Do I "do unto others as I would have them do unto me?"

Thats why G-d's Laws are superior to this idea of morality.

Try Matthew 7:12 "Therefore, however you want people to treat you,so treat them, for this is the Law and the Prophets."
If people who enjoy being urinated on know perfectly well that others don't, they would not be following the law if they do that to others. For example If I know another person likes a CD by a certain musician whom I can't stand, it would be nice to buy that for them even if I wouldn't want that in return. And they would be following the Law if they did the same for me. (That is, buy something they don't even like just to give to me)

Sounds like you have read "illusions" by Richard Bach (the guy that wrote Jonathon Livingston Seagull"...if you haven't, go get it, and he has the same argument...the main character is discussing this very thing with a messiah (not jesus) and the messiah says
"Do unto other as you truly wish to do unto others", it's the only truth, and holds the doer completely accountable.

I think the adage presupposes that you're mentally/emotionally healthy and rational...as opposed to a self-loathing basket-case.

I am sure that saying is talking about being kind to others, helping them, etc. Not pissing on them or killing people.
