you find this math or other problem or question that hasn't been answered,...you'd scrolled down a bit or gone to the next page and you get all excited because you will be the first to answer it as you know the answer and then it takes you like 2 minutes and then you submit and there are like 10 answers above yours and several of them are correct? Now your chance at the 10 extra points are gone--you can't really differentiate your answer very much to stand out. I hate that. Now, write a correct answer for me,..I will chose the best answer tomorrow. P.S. Sorry about the run-on sentence.

I think that I am a fairly smart and intellectual person. I often feel that I have the "right answer" to certain questions. While I don't have a whole lot of best answers? I do often think that I have the best one for a particular question? I put a lot of thought into my answers and feel that I sometimes give the best answer.
I want the points, so I will sometimes do a quick research to make sure I give the best answer and be able to give a reference? I paraphrase to be as fast as I can? Submit, then look at the other answers? And like 10 other people were faster than me.
I check out other answers and see a similar one, but not as detailed as I could have given, so I do an "edit" to further explain my answer.......and add on whatever I think would further define my answer.
I probally have some case of OCD because I also edited your question for grammatical errors and run-on sentences? I felt your diction and punctuation was fine, and served it's purpose of question.
Thank you for addressing a question that has been on my mind for months.

I don't pay much attention to the Jonas Brothers, but they do seem kinda poopy. Miley Cyrus seems like a self-centered whole in the butt who is too grown. (Jonas Brothers seem too child like.) Who do I hate? Courtney Love is gross and ridiculous. Of course everyone hates Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie is disconnected from reality too. Lady Gaga sucks!!!! She's so ugly and untalented. That's it! That's my answer! She had a song about dancing and she can't even move. Stupid.

YEP! I also hate it when ppl just answer "im just here for the pts" that drives me crazy.. if you want the 2 pts at least make some stuff up that sounds at least half baked. give us a joke or something to pay for the time we have to use to check the answers and choose a best answer... we got lives to ya know!
I hate it almost as much as i hate ppl that say really stupid stuff like " i think the milks spoiled.. here taste it" who ever is dumb enough to do it deserves the mouth full of warm buttercreamed cottage cheese!!

I hate it so much when that happens. I don't think that I have ever had a first answer on anyones page. It is kinda sad. I have answered a lot, and have only gotten the best answer one time... Anyway I guess I will keep trying, almost made it to level 2! You Rock!

Yes...that is quite a run on lol.
Anyway, that happens to me on many questions. It does get a little on the depressing side, but if you think about it, if the person truly wants the answer, they will read each response. I know when someone answers a question I ask, I consider each question and secretly wish I could give each person ten points, but to no avail thanks to Yahoo!'s limited system. I doubt I'm the only one who has to rationalize that, but yes, I can sympathize with you on that point.

No. I don't. I hate answering people's math questions because you know it's some lazy a*s that wants you to do his or her homework. Besides, it's almost like work doing math. What's the matter with you? .. doing people's math problems. Make yourself useful and give me those 10 points you math nerd.

lol, I hate that too. Like when I see a question that I think not many others know the answer to..I rush to answer it and by the time it is submited, everyone else got there first :(
