I have a pimple down there but it's not on the inside. It's right next to my left thigh. I had it before and it was painful then it went away. I saw a white spot on it like a whitehead and tried to pop it but it swelled up. Any idea what it is and how to remove it????

I have gotten many pimples inside my thighs and yes they are painful mostly from shaving or your legs rubbing together. Sometimes they can be an ingrown hair that becomes a boil

This is the best thing to do. Take a bath as hot as you can stand it with epson or sea salt... this will draw it point again or even break it and get that hair out or and if the core.

There are three things you can use. Drawzit (which is like tar), boileze (its a toothpaste) or boil and egg you you that white part that's in the egg you rub that after boiling the egg that will also get it to pop out too

I usually just take the bath and make sure i pop out the core. I know your not suppose to do it, but i just can't see going to the dr when there not really gonna tell me something or do something i already know. and if you have tweezers just pull it out.

staph boil

Apply hot wash cloths to help bring swelling to a head. Apply antibiotic ointment twice daily. Don't pick but wait for boil to break naturally or have a Dr or dermatologist lance the boil. The pus will spread the germs and cause more boils if touched.

Bactroban ointment is the medicine of first choice. Don't be surprised if you get more of these. If so look up intranasal Bactroban because you might be a carrier of staph germs.

soak it in hot water, or hold a hot, wet washcloth against it for about 10 minutes a couple of times a day. That should bring it to a head so it can drain. Might be just a pimple, or could be a cyst, which is something like a clogged pore.

it's pry not a pimple it is pry an ingrown hair--you need to take the "head" off of it and if you can with a tweezers pull out the hair. it is more than likely coiled up inside of the bump. then you should put neosporin on it to soften the skin and avoid infection. if it is an ingrown hair and you don't get the hair out it can continue to grow and become infected and burst.

It's probably an ingrown hair, use sterilized tweezers to try and pull the hair out. If you are still having trouble to a doctor - if you mess with it too much it could get infected or scar, and you don't want any funny business down there!

Try putting salicylic acid (like Clean & Clear) on it to dry it out. I wouldn't pick on it or pop it because it may lead to infection. If it doesn't improve, see a dermatologist to make sure that it's not a serious condition.

If you shave down there, use a loofah afterwards to prevent ingrown hairs. Also make sure your clothes are not too tight.

Treat it like a regular pimple.... with acne medication. It'll go away.
