Yes,defanatley, because i have owned both and i took back the ps3 because it was no good, and yes you are right the sports games on the 360 are much better graffics, the only diffrence is on Call of Duty 3 the ps3 is a little bit brighter and it almost makes it look well..not as real.

well i just depends right now this second the x-box 360 does have more games than the ps3 and graphically there about the same but thats right now but year or two the ps3 will have better graphics probably because it has more power but since your a sports ffan any would be good now for the real question are you a HARD CORE gamer if not the $300 x-box 360 will probably be right for you and for somthing a little better the $400 but if you are a hard core gamer the ps3 if you can get the money it has free onine and it has better graphics but in sports games its a little harder to have good graphics because its harder to make people than it is to make a car or dirt thats why if you have played motostprm at your local walmart you sill see it looks better than the NBA game

This question will breed a lot of bias answers of fanboys supporting "their" console. However at this stage, xbox is better value for money.
Ps3 is more expensive and the games are crap atm. The thing u must realise however, is that the PS3 has amazing potential. You might not see some of the best games for another 2 years but boy can i tell you, that when the best games are realeased for PS3 you will wet ur frikkin pants!!
Ps3 will ultimatly be the better machine, but not for a long long time...

i own both, and xbox 360 has amazing graphics compared too that damn PS3. The graphics are lacking, and the game library is small, even considering it came out only a few weeks ago.

The graphics are so alike when you are playing a game like madden you cant tell the difference unless you zoom in on a replay

well think about it like this...when you see an xbox 360 commercial with beautiful graphics...you are seeing actual gameplay. wait for the next ps3 commercial with beautiful graphics and notice the disclaimer at the bottom...'not actual gameplay'. and take notice on commercials for games that are on both systems and see the disclaimer that says 'footage from xbox 360 gameplay'

In terms of value and game library.... yes I'd say so. This coming from a fan of Sony's since the PS1.

yea..I work at a viedo store and I hear a lot of ppl. say that XBOX has way better graphics than the Playstaions 2 and 3...EVERRRR...but that is "heresay"

360 GPU runs at 500MHz
PS3 GPU runs at 550MHz
