get him a game for his ps2 or xbox or what ever he has, if not get him tickets to a nba or nfl game. do ot i repeat do not get him clothes. if desperate just give him a gift card to best buy

Well, for video games, $300 bucks ain't nothing...no offense...
but what you can do is this....
give him the cash!!!!
let him decide on video games (very possible)
or buy him a used psp or ps2 or game cube (which is under 300) at your nearest block busters video store..if not try Eb or gamestop on-line store..here is a help full link which is right now dedicating to Christmas gifts in the video game realm
