I have an ati visiontek xtasy9600 256mb installed on my hp a230n desktop....want to upgrade without spending over $200.. any suggestions??? also I need to order from bestbuy.com because I have credit there.. thanks

visiontek xtasy9600 is an AGP card, so you can only upgrade with another AGP card. bestbuy doesn't have a wide variety of graphics card, so you have to choose from only a very few.
the best AGP card in your price range from bestbuy is the GeForce 7600 GS

I don't know why you have to buy from bestbuy because if you buy on the internet from newegg or most other online retailers you save around 50%. Anyhow if you are going to buy from bestbuy get the nvidia 7300GT it is a good low end performer. If you want to go to another retailer you should 7600GT it is a very good card for the price, and you can find a good semi overclocked one for $150. Brand name isn't very important.

why u want to upgrade ur card? 256 its really a good video card. go for ATI or Nvidia if u want to upgrade
