I agree, he doesn't deserve this. I'm a Sixers fan and I'm really angry at the organization lately. They can't put any decent players around him and then they blame HIM for the fact that they never win anything. It's ridiculous. The guy averages 30+ points and 7+ assists, for crying out loud; how much more can one guy do? What do you want him to average, 50 points? And for all these people who complain about his attitude -- the guy brings it every night and has one of the biggest hearts in the league. The least the Sixers can do is give him a decent supporting cast.

The Sixers had a horrible season last year. So what does the organization do in the offseason? Virtually nothing. No major moves, no major signings, nothing. Now all of a sudden they're 5-15 this year. Well, what do you expect? Again, it's ridiculous.

Like I said, I'm a Philly fan for life and I love Iverson, but I almost want to see him go just because this situation is so unfair to him. He deserves to be on a team where they're going to give him a legitimate opportunity to win, not a team like the Sixers where they've been "rebuilding" for literally five years now. A.I. deserves a championship, and he's not gonna get one here.

Deserve has everything to do with it. He has been The Problem since the moment they drafted him. His petulance, me-first attitude, and lousy shooting percentage is what kept the Sixers from becoming a team. Everything was done to appease him and 5 coaches and countless team mates later we have a goose egg in place of a championship. I can't believe people like you think he's a great player. I wouldn't want him near the arena if I owned the team. The fact that they are trading him should be proof enough that the team has always put him first.

He wants to be with a team that he could win the championship with. That's why he leaving the 76rs don't have anyone on their team anymore at least nobody that could help A.I. win the big game!

well he had problems wid the team for couple of seasons, i dont think its his fault, the management sucked, and he is pretty much leaving for the same reason as Vince Carter,,,,,, And plus if you look in the 76 ers history, this isnt the first time, that after a long time, that a franchise player wants a trade, look at Chamberalain in 1968 and Barkley in 1992...

and remember 76ers are gonna get nothing, they really expect nothing, because they want to build in the off season............
