Every gamer I know says X box 360

currently the 360 has more games that look just as good as any games the ps3 can bring to the table. The variety with the 360 games is broad spectrum something for everyone who doesn't really want puzzle games. The online support for the 360 is incredible, for nearly all games the monthly fee for the Live subscription is all it takes to play people from every corner of the globe. PS3 can make a come back to be sure but i think it is a day late and a dollar short.

The PS3. It has much more potential and an afinity of abilitys that the xbox 360 couldn't dream of. Most of these, however, are relatively useless to the average "I hate the PS3, i want a Wii!!!" people. The Xbox 360 will support microsofts XNA and will thusly have a few more open source apps for it. However, the PS3 is the virtual equivalent of a soupped up mac. It supports linux. I have heard that there will be a version with HD DVD support in late 07.
Anyway it doesn't matter because all the PC haters are about to get owned next year. The PC is going to make a gaming comeback next year with the release of vista, games for windows, XNA, and DirectX 10.

I would say xbox 360, yet thats because I beleve you should wait a while before getting a consul after its launch. Yet its personal opinion and experiance. Most answers you will see will most likly be fan boys of either system. I personaly want to get both yet I will wait for the ps3 when prices go down.

the only one i like for XBOX 360 is Dead or Alive 4.. but the rest of it, PS3 all the way XD..

i'd have to say that there are better games for the xbox 360
ps3 has no good games yet and i heard alot of them crash, but i do like the menu of the ps3

playstation 3!!!!! it has alot more potential than the 360 if u look up stats for both systems and compare u will clearly see that ps3 is the winner

You can't really look at statistics and say witch one is better. It all usually comes to the games available. For me, the Playstation usually has the games that I (personally) love the most (Final Fantasy series), so I lean towards the PS3.
