How many times can you subtract 5 from 25?

Well immediately I would think 5 times. Then again you can really only do it once because once you subtract one time, its not 25 anymore! And also you can do it infinitely if im allowed to go into the negatives

One time. Once you subtract 5 the first time. You won't have 25

5 times--Because 25/5 =5

Infinite number of times. The number will keep getting smaller and smaller and will become negative

Infinite number of times. You can subtract 5 from 25 for ever. Here is a BASIC program that shows this

I believe it's once. After that you're not subtracting from 25 anymore

1st possible think is it can be subtracted once.
2nd possible thinking is it can be subtracted 5 times.
3rd way is it can be subtracted infinite times it can cross negative terms and go about a long way process........

1. only once otherwise its not 25
2. 5 times till you get to zero
3. infinetely there is no limit to the subtraction
