ok i need help with this math problems explain what to do only three.1.-3to the second power+(-(-3))- 8. second 2, 1/2*-3 / 5/4 +3/5 - 1/10/.thrid3. 0.25 * (-8).ok i know the answers i need to know how you got the answer the steps.the answers are-26, -7/10 and -2

Honey, you're not getting good answers to your questions because nobody can read them. Try putting individual questions on individual lines rather than bunching them all up:

1) (-3)^2 + (-(-3)) - 8

2) (1/2)*(-3/(5/4))+ 3/5 - 1/10

for instance. Also, you need to be clearer in how you write them. Notice that I'm using ^ to indicate a power and parentheses to indicate what goes with what.

For what it's worth, what I wrote for your question 1 is what I understood it to be, but I know that must be wrong because it doesn't evaluate to -26. Look at some of the other mathematics/arithmetic questions on here and see how others do it.
