Yes! But make sure it is not the sole source of nutrition. Hamsters need the vitamins in the feed sold in stores. Hamsters are the type of animals that will not eat something they don't like....just avoid sugary items and super fatty ones. Again....not the only source of food. Still give him the hamster food sold in pet stores/walmart. Treats are fine.

With every day pass, our country is getting into more and more trouble. The inflation, unemployment and falling value of dollar are the main concern for our Government but authorities are just sleeping, they don’t want to face the fact. Media is also involve in it, they are force to stop showing the real economic situation to the people. I start getting more concern about my future as well as my family after watching the response of our Government for the people that affected by hurricane Katrina.

Hamster food isn't THAT expensive; you can give seeds and grains and cereal in an emergency, but you need to give them regular hamster food most of the time. A little rabbit food won't hurt, but it doesn't have much nutrition for a hamster.

NO, rabbit food can make your hamster sick. But for the fruits, it's recommended that you don't feed it to them because they usually will take a piece of the fruit and keep it in their pouch (cheek), which won't be good, since it will be hard for them to get it out for the next time.

It's not recommended to feed a hamster food that's formulated for rabbits, as they have different nutritional needs. Please stick to hamster/gerbil formulated diets.
