The Netherlands; It's broken up into to regions, north and south holland. Holland isn't really the country's name.

Actually, I'm engaged to a Dutch citizen, 'eidunotno', and they refer to themselves as "Dutch" and call the country "Holland". It's not an American thing. Don't make an ASSumption out of yourself.
