Not enough info. But if you're installing a high speed internet connection, your internet provider usually do it for free. Check with them. If you're using dial-up modem the provider will have the how-to instructions that you can follow. It's pretty simple, really.

1) subscribe to cable or dsl broadband service - they will provide you with a modem. Connect your computer to the modem (don't worry about install cd's). Just set your computer network card up for dhcp in ip settings.

That's about it unless you want multiple computers in multiple rooms. If that is the case you should follow the above and then get a wireless router and wireless nics for your computers. You can get these at any computer store these days and I think even at Walmart

Not with the information you imparted. I'll assume you have an ISP and a modem and everything is working. Next call the ISP and talk to them, their tech will walk you through the
process of getting on line in a step by step manner.

You have to call an internet service provider. They will hook it up for you, or give you instructions on how to do it.click it>>
