I am a Filipino currently working in China, and the last time I celebrated Christmas here, it was no fun at all..I miss the holidays back home, but I won't be able to go home to celebrate it.

Try and invite some people over. Tell them that you want to celebrate Christmas and that you would like to have them join you. Roast a turkey, mash some potatoes and have some green bean casserole. If you can't get these things there then make do with what you can find. Play some Christmas music and give each guest a small gift. Enjoy the day with your new friends and make do until you can come home. Have a big old fashioned celebration and invite as many people as will come.

Oh, sorry I forgot you are from the Philippines, so maybe the turkey and potatoes aren't what you would use but you get my meaning. Just do as close to what you would do at home and invite people over to enjoy it with you.

hang up some lights and buy a small tree. Decorate it with some strung popcorn and homemade ornmaments, or maybe some trinkets from a store. Then it will feel more like home.
