Warfarin is the generic name for Coumadin, a blood thinner. If I were you I would dispose of this pill. I am pretty sure it was not prescribed for you since you are asking us here what it may be. Do not take any medicaitons you find, or that are not prescribed for you.

Warfarin is a blood thinner/anti-clotting drug typically prescribed for after some heart surgeries and sometimes prescribed to those with high risk of heart attack.

Don't take it though.

The same chemicals were used in rat poisons. To me that just makes no sense.

The reason why doctors prescribe most medications is because pharmaceutical companies are funding med schools across the country (and the world too) so they are taught that "drugs solve everything". Ever notice the long list of side effects quickly rambled off after a commercial? That is no coincidence. Long term use of any drug brings on more problems that are again treated by even more drugs. That means more money for pharmeceuticals.

I would recommend you pick up a book called "Natural Cures That "they" Don't Want You To Know About" By an author named Kevin Trudeau.

It is very easy reading, and the book contains all the behind the scenes workings of the pharmaceutical, medical, and food industry communities, and their profit boosting immoral practices to keep the business coming. It also has a huge section containing information about a couple hundred diseases, their KNOWN causes, and how they can be cured or prevented by a simple change in your diet. It also talks about some of the negatives of drugs and chemicals used in prescription medication and food ingredients.

It is an extremely interesting and eye opening book.

Just as a side note there are a little over 1,400 ingredients that the FDA does not require to be labeled on the ingredients list, all of which have known health problems associated with them.

The industries have admitted that the only purpose of these ingredients is to cause hunger, addiction, weight gain, and further health problems, causing the need for even more drugs.
Sounds like a good way to secure an investment in pharmaceuticals, doesn't it?

I know i might sound like an extremist, or someone who is freaking out over some non-existent conspiracy, but really I am not. I was skeptical at first, but after some extensive research I found these claims to be true. If you want more information, just e-mail me and I'll be glad to point you in the right direction.

Warfarin is used to prevent blood clots from forming or growing larger. It is often prescribed for patients with certain types of irregular heartbeat and after a heart attack or heart valve replacement surgery. It works by stopping the formation of substances that cause clots. Warfarin is also used with other drugs in the treatment of some lung cancers.

Don't take it unless it's prescribed to you.

Thats warfarin, its a drug that stops your blood from clotting. It can cause some bad side effects if you take it when you're not supposed to such as abnormal bleeding and stroke. It's one of the more tightly monitored drugs when people take it (ie: if they have specific heart problems) and require blood tests to make sure they don't bleed.

It's also used as rat poison, but not in the form you're describing. My advice is don't let anyone get at it, just drop it off at your pharmacy and they can safely get rid of it for you for free

Seraphim is correct. The name we usually call it is Cumadin and it is commonly used as a blood thinner. The 5 tells you that it is 5mg. Do not take this unless it is prescribed it could be very dangerous.
