bad map sensor, tpi sensor, mass air flow, i think the o2 is under the alluminum cover of the exhust manifold

The sensor is in the manifold, directly behind the radiator and fan. It may be concealed, but it is there. Follow the wiring harness from the alternator area to the sensor.
As for what will cause it to run rich, MANY things.
1) an exhaust leak before the O2 sensor
2) MAP or MAF out of spec
3) Fuel pressure regulator out of range.
4) Contaminated air filter
5) Defective PCV valve
6) Coolant temperature sensor out of spec
7) Oxygen sensor flat-line or very lazy.
These are some of the most common causes of an engine driven into a rich condition.
