The Knights Templar was good as well. Similar to Da Vinci but different as well.

I recommend Dan Brown's other books (listed in order of how well I liked them): Angels & Demons, Digital Fortress, and Deception Point. Also, Nelson Demille is a good writer. Tuesdays With Morrie, by Mitch Albom, is a good read. A fascinating book read that I heard nothing about until my wife bought it is called The Los Angeles Diaries by James Brown (not the singer).

I wish you could read my book next (but alas! I still have no agent) - insert sad face here - As a follow up to the Da Vinci Code, you could read "Holy Blood, Holy Grail". It was the book that tried to sue Dan Brown for copywrite infringement.
UPDATE - what's going on here? Everyone has gotten a bad rating. I think we answerers are getting tricked or there is something abusive going on.

Montana Sky or Birthright by Nora Roberts.
My niece suggest Angels and Demons by the same author. (She bought all four of his books.)
